ABOUT ISABELLA

I understand breastfeeding from every angle, as a nurse, as a teacher, and as a mum still in the middle of it myself.

I'm a Registered Nurse with years of experience working in Australia's largest neonatal intensive care unit and paediatric hospitals, where I supported some of the most complex and fragile feeding journeys there are. I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing specialising in neonatal care, a Master of Teaching, and I'm an IBCLC, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, the gold standard qualification in this field.

My approach is a little different to the old-school hospital nurse stereotype. My teaching background shapes how I explain things, clearly, patiently, and without jargon, so you actually understand the why behind the advice, not just the what. There's no judgement here, only modern, evidence-based support delivered with warmth.

I'm also a mum. My son is nearly one, and we're still breastfeeding, through the hard days and the easy ones. I know what it's like to be exhausted, worried, and Googling at 2am, because I've been there too. That's exactly why Bond Lactation exists, so you don't have to go through it alone.

I see families in a beautiful private space in Bulimba, or I'll come straight to you at your home. I'll support you and your family anywhere from Bulimba and the inner east through to Wynnum and Manly, where I live myself.
